But lately I have been watching a few of the old gunsmoke shows. They had lot's of actors who are now big names and the staging and acting was amazingly good. They're on A&E if ya wanna watch one.

They are like cousins if I remember right

I don't know about Chuck Connors and James Arness, but Peter Graves is James' brother. It's one of those weird things that stuck in my head. I am the queen of unuseable or annoying facts like that. :) :24:

I always thought it was funny since Arness was the king of Western TV heroes and Graves was so cooooooooool and modern in Mission Impossible. :)

I just looked at "mission impossible" Graves and "Gunsmokes" Arness and I see great similarities in their faces.

Yeah there are, but I would never have put them together before I read that factoid years ago. I think I have a mental block because of how different their roles were. :D

But yeah, they sure do have resemblance to each other. I don't remember, without looking them up, why their last names are different.

I loved both shows.

The one I just watched had Susanne Pleshette (s) in it.... Lot's of good scenes and great staging.

That's what I enjoy about watching old shows like that, spotting an actor or actress that went on to fame in their own right.

Sidenote: I always thought Susanne was a great actress and cool "broad". She was quite funny and outspoken out of character.

I found that while ago too. I was trying to remember seems there was a relationship there but I can't remember.
