This one was self inflicted...

Bryan and I were playing with our dog last night, getting him to run about in small circles and such between us... I was barefoot, and Bryan was in his shit kickers (you see where I'm going?).

Anyway, all was well until I decided to switch spots and went to cross in front of Bryan and he moved his foot forward during when my left foot was lifting off the ground and I stubbed/tripped over his boot and managed to bend my little toe from the normal flat position to a full 100 degree angle (and maybe then some).

I'm still deciding whether it is dislocated or not, I can bend it from the 5th metatarsal to 5th proximal phalanx/phalange (which hurts likes a mother :mad:willy_nilly:), but can't from the middle and distal one. Also, I can't put full weight on it. :(

With a little toe injury all a medical staff person would do is tape it to the adjacent toe to limit mobility and maybe pain. My present injury is to the second toe and I am not wearing shoes today.

OWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWIEEEEEEEEE!!! That looks so painful Melissa!!:(:(:( *HUGS*

I'm so sorry!! What a wicked looking bruise! I can offer nothing as to whether it's dislocated, but it doesn't sound good that you can't put weight on it. That's gonna make work suck. :(

*HUGS some more* Get better quick!!

Yeah, not going to the doc, it'll work itself out... I wrapped it yesterday right after I did it, its so swollen even my loose sketchers hurt and felt tight on it. :( Flip flops again I guess. :(

Awww sweetie. Hope it is fine!

Me thinks she just likes showing us her feet!

If I did, I won't hurt myself for an excuse to show them.:24:

Ouch. Don't play the lottery this week. Hope you feel better.

No shit, least it wasn't the same foot the doctor fucked up eariler! :24:

*hugs* Thanks, I can put some weight on it, when standing, I can't walk on it like normal that's for sure... so I'm Hobbles until the pain lessens. Once I can find our ibuprofen I'll start taking some for the swelling.

That one little toe is freezing too...

Well find the ibuprofen quick!! *swats your bottom* :)

I bet the blood flow to that toe is impaired, that's why it's cold. :(

In his defense, he got some of it. :24: Where the blister was, he got the tiny one, but missed that big one you can see in the pic there. I'm going to work on it myself a bit, or get a professional Doc to remove it and not the family Quack.
