Funny, she never caught me sneaking her booze tho.......

She had this huge bottle of Galiano (sp). In a lighted stand... Like 3 feet tall... My 11&12 year old butt would sneak little sips of it and she never noticed the level went down - perhaps she thought it was her?

Some things I got away with.....

Hee hee hee...maybe she did! I can't believe I got away with sneaking smokes. She didn't, but my father did and he didn't live with us. When he visited, I would sneak cigs from his pack and smoke them later. I'm sure I had to reek of smoke to a non-smoker, but she never said a word. I wasn't clever enough to shower afterward. But I did dispose of the butts and left no trace of ashes. :)

Later, I used to smoke in my car and she still didn't catch on???

I haven't smoked in 27 years, but I sure got away with it for a long time before that! :)

I didn't smoke with her... But I did smoke when I went to live w/my sister... I'd buy them on my way to school w/my lunch money at the little drive through store (I hope kids can't do that now)... I'd hide the pack behind the drawer in my desk in my room.. She never caught on either.... Then again, she was pretty freaking clueless...... Too wrapped up in her asshole husband and making sure I'd done all the housework when I'd gotten home...

*swims over to the bar and makes a rum & coke* Want one to Margene? Or something else?

Ohhhhhhhhhh thank ya! I'll have Beam and beer!! :)

She was probably too wrapped up, is right. Unless one is paying attention, the kiddos get away with lots of stuff! I don't know what my mom was doing, maybe paying attention to my brother and his problems? I was no trouble, miss goody, goody, so that's probably it. :)

Mine sure didn't get away with loads of the stuff I did!! Which obviously, since I was thought to be a goody, goody, I got away with!! :)

You're making me laugh, but it's true! She has two great parents who care about her. I can tell because of the complaints you've told me of! :) She wouldn't be chafing if you didn't care! :)

Oh, very true.... She is indeed lucky I didn't have her in my 20's. I doubt I would have been a good mother as I was too into myself and indulging my every whim........

I do not resent her at all. I don't feel she stifles my life. She completes it. (along w/my Hubby). She's given it meaning. Best thing I ever did that I didn't plan on. I never wanted kids. Never say never ;) God had other plans:24: You will learn patience and selflessness *pouf* :24:

It's all good!

That's a lovely feeling, that your husband and child complete you! :) I like that! :)

OHhh and boy did you hit one of my stone beliefs! NEVER say NEVER, cuz the first thing you're gonna get to do is that thing! :)

Excellent, I have the day off, and the boy is back home. I missed him yesterday:(

I'm taking him shopping for summer clothes, he is growing so fast.

Nearly 6 but in size 9 clothes:eek:willy_nilly::willy_nilly:

Well, that should be fun tho..... He'll tall for his age? PBBB is too... She blew through clothes at that age..... EBay got to be my friend. She wears a womans 8.5 shoe now.......
