I dread cooking at times. I'd rather do anything else, but there times when I throw myself into it. :)

Unfortunately, that is so true about paying for it. I can't believe how much I spend in comparison to a few years ago. I'm getting significantly less for my money. Prices really climbed last summer, meaning 2008. :(

No doubt..... I used to go only every two weeks and get plenty. Now I have to break it up during the week and get less.... Just means I'm more creative in what I cook and more efficient utilization of leftovers.

I enjoy cooking. I really don't mind it. Unless I'm not feeling well. Then it's FFY night. (Fend for yourself)

There ya go! I use leftovers in all kinds of ways too. I'm pleased to get more than one meal out of something! :)

Yes it is! I couldn't find one item and when they asked did I, I said no an told them. They ran back to get me what I was after! Saved me from another stop! :)

I think I dog paddle around the parameter for now... But thanks for the offer Margene.....

I think it's gonna be hamburgers tonight.... and chips.... Unless I get ambitious and make oven fries.... Probably chips ;)

PBBB especially loves burgers...... It helps to be making something for dinner she's not going to cop a tude over......

I swear I should make that kid eat liver so she'll understand that most other foods are awesome compared to that..... hehehehehehehehe...... We were out having dinner one evening a few months back and the table next to us full of little old ladies each ordered the liver...... We got served first but didn't finish before their orders came........ It was so not fun trying to eat my food with the smell of liver wafting over to us.:yuk:yuk:yuk We quickly stuffed our faces and left. I should tho. My mom used to make me sit at the table until I'd eaten it all.... Even if it was til 8pm (bitch).... Even catsup wasn't enough to make that shit easy to go down...... I learned early to like spinach so I can get my iron....... *shudders at the memory*

Oh yeah! I'm familiar with that method. I was served french toast made with rye bread. :yuk:yuk:yuk (not by mother, but my father trying to be a good dad)

There was not enough syrup to drown out the taste of carroway seeds in that bread. GACK!

He also served us pickled beets. *SHUDDERS* I just shoved them down, chewing as little a possible.

Let our kids try those yummy taste treats, huh? :D:D
