Apparently my house (the one I rent out) flooded last night. :( I just went to look at the damage and its not too bad.. i gotta figure out how I fix the problem. The water was coming up from under the siding.. I have a concrete foundation.. I dont understand. :(

Its from the storms.. They are pretty bad right now.. Im not sure of the lake levels.. but Im pretty sure its high. We had several business flood and parkinglots flood. Deputies had to rescue people out of their cars last night. :(

BAD night.. and its suppose to storm again... so I gotta get the problem fixed now.

I think it is. The "ghost of Fred" (as the local weather guy calls it) is headed here. Don't know when it supposed to be here.

I feel for you.

The storm flooded my crawl space and I'm pretty sure destroyed my AC.

:(
Oh that sucks big time.........:(

You said you have a concrete foundation. Does it go up the sides too w/blocks? I'd suggest sand bags but those are MoFo's to get, fill & place... Visquene & dirt perhaps?

Do you have a wet vac? Or pump?

Damn, I feel for y'all....It really sucks.

Water always finds a way and since no house can be completely water-tight, it found a fissure to go through.

Not being a construction type person, I can't offer a knowledgeable solution as to how that could be fixed so it doesn't happen again. :( It does seem maybe the siding could be lifted in that area and barrier material inserted. But...really...I don't know what I'm talking about...:)

Hope you find a good not too expensive solution V. :)
