Only thing worse than having your car broken into and stuff stolen.... is having the whole car stolen....
Happened to us.... Now that's a bad feeling altogether.
We did get the car back a month later.... minus the stereo and just about everything else in the car.... CD's, papers, etc.
I remember looking for it everywhere I went.... I even drove into some bad neighborhoods in the city while visiting there.... I was like feeling I know it's here somewhere and some little twerp punk has it and is joyriding or something.
I'm so glad it turned up miles and miles away from home..... I was glad to stop the constant looking for it mode I was mesmerized by......

One of the many reasons we moved the heck out of Tampa.... At least they were covered by insurance....
What really cracks me up about the car theft.... It was an older vehicle. The Police told us it was easier for a thief to break into and start. Thief meaning a young punk more than likely.
Obviously this thief or thieves were younger.... or stupid.... they broke the dash and part of the stereo was still laying on the floor! And there were two tools that they were using that they left..... both broken.... We saw that and just laughed....

My parents house was broken into when I was a teenager. They took quite a bit. They were pros. Acted like they were working in the yard. I think they would have got a lot more but were scared off. Stole my own TV amongst other stuff
Then in my 20's some punks broke into my own house. I lived alone at the time. Looked like they took a sledgehammer to the back doorknob. Got a few things of value. Luckily I had my dog with me as it would have gotten loose. They came in thru the back door and ran out the front and left the front door open. They had broke into some other houses before that the cops told me.
It does suck and make ya feel violated. I ended up installing burglar alarms at the house and the next one I moved into. Radio Shack stuff that I put in myself.
