Bored So I went To The Zoo Again

I'm still trying for that perfect shot of a Buffalo, Grizzly Bear, Wolf. Today wasn't the day so I took these instead. I'm still trying to figure out all the settings on my new camera but I kinda like what I see so far.

Thanks and I'm glad you noticed that. It's really starting to impress me. I talked myself into and out of the new camera for quite some time. Then I woke up one day and kinda drove down to the store and bought it. Mrs. Guyzerr thinks I'm a bit wacked cuz I was so fickle about it.

Anywhoo, to answer your question. It's called The Vancouver Zoo even though it isn't anywhere near Vancouver. It's about 25 - 30 miles outside of it. I live about 20 mennonites away from it so it's handy when I'm bored. ( it's a lousy zoo as far as zoos go )

I've heard that.

I've also heard that about the Seattle Zoo and that's only a 3 or so hr. drive from home. I meant to get down there before the new rules about crossing the border came into effect but never did. Now we have to get an enhanced drivers license before we can cross. It's on the list for sometime this winter so maybe next year.

Calgary Zoo is also quite impressive but I haven't been there for quite a few years. Considering it's about 12 hours away I'm thinking that won't happen.
