Flowers in the Garden

Here are a couple of pictures from my garden.

The first two are of a small flower and a close up of it.







This is the smallest of the sunflowers growing in the vegetable garden.

Thankx, Anita! This is that same sunflower....... It's just under 6' tall. There is another one that is way taller in the garden. I'll post a picture of that one tomorrow and measure its height. These plants are so cool!

I just made a thread of a sunflower field! I was driving along and there it was! I just had to stop and take a picture. Seeing it was way better than the pictures show though. As far as I could see.... sunflowers!

...... there are about a dozen of them..... half are over 6 foot and the other half are smaller.....

They are a huge gorgeous plant for sure! I'm 5'6" and I have to look up at them now. Next year I'm planting a whole bunch more side by side..... My very own sunflower army!

I went to take a picture of the tallest Sunflower in the garden..... that sucker is over 8' tall! So I stood back and did the best I could..... I'll post it in a few minutes once it uploads to photobucket. And the sun was in the background blinding me! I thought sunflowers followed the sun? *scratches head* :shrug:
