I've had my mustache off and on(more on) since 1970.
I just dont feel right without it.

In all seriousness I've had a beard since Sept. '71. I shaved it off twice in the middle '70s because some stupid people bet me that I wouldn't. The second time I did it I had to shave the right side off and leave the left as is for 24 hours. It's amazing what people will do for a buck. In any event it hasn't come off since then. In the beginning I had it quite long.. actually very long, but in the last 20 years or so I keep it short and very well trimmed. ( pic is in profile )
Even my wife of almost 29 years has never seen me without it and she never will.

Well kind of the best for now, which is pretty crap stubble but wait a month and I'll look like Harold Shipman minus the glasses.

i dont like beards on guys - they are too itchy...
