I'm listening to a frog croaking in my my strawberry pot. I wonder, why do frogs croak?

So ask a random question, anything that hits your brain. You can even answer a question in the thread, but I'm curious what random questions go through other people's minds.

TO MODS: Not sure if this is, strictly speaking, a word game. Please move if this is not the correct forum.

PS: If you see this Jim, I know what you're saying: *Margene, curious????? Imagine that?*

Ok...why DO frogs croak?

Frogs make those sounds to call their mates
frogs ears are specifically designed to here the exact tone of its one type
if hundreds of frogs of different types were screaming their chant
the ones of the same type would be able to tell the difference of their own mate
weird huh
I watch planet earth alot

Most pigment is made from pulverized natural minerals.

Why does my cat make a chirping sound when she enters the room?
