Well it's about vampires, and shapeshifters, and werewolves, and telepaths. Good stuff fo sho.
Basically vampires come out into the open, and the story is told from the perspective of Sookie Stackhouse, who is a telepath.

Figures. Books are often different than a movie or TV. I'm glad it's not ruining it for you! Sometimes it does. I've only managed to see one episode of the series. I'm a vampire story fan though. It should be my cup of tea.
I just gotta find time to watch!! I read only sporadically now. No one would leave me alone to get lost in books. That's why I like message boards. You can get interrupted 100 times and always get caught back up.
