Haven't read it yet, but I can still say ABSOLUTELY. We completely got ourselves into the housing mess as well.

It's not just America.
Its 100% cuz of america and the rest of the world affected.
Other countries are part of the cause also, Canada's economics aren't so great also. We've been in debt forever.
We're up shit creek too. At least the USA have got rid of the twats who got them into this mess now, we still have to wait for the one eyed Scottish cunt to call an election to get rid of the prat who fucked up our economy, god knows when that will be, even his own party want him to just go.
I wish that were true. The same twats in Congress are still calling the shots at the behest of powerful lobbyists - same as it ever was. NOTHING has changed with a new President coming in. These problems started decades ago and are only now coming home to roost.
At least your economic mess is slowing down and there's now a light at the end of the tunnel.
I disagree. The light at the end of the tunnel is a train called "Trillion Dollar Deficits" that is bearing down right on us. It won't be pretty when the bills come in.

All we've done is taken out a new credit card with high limit and bought a bunch of new furniture. Um. people will always blame others before themselves.
America (or at least, the United States) is a "good" target.
But that does not mean the people are right in their distribution of the blame.
Just because you can get credit, does not mean you should.
