fred, the folks are going to be all the way south at someplace called orange beach. dad's bringing a small boat with him. they'll be there til april.
mom didn't know what exactly he wants to do and he's still not talking to me. i know that he likes a place to launch the boat that has a bar and grill to go for coffee in the morning and a place to hang out in the evening.
my thinking is more toward directing him to fishing buddies than a guide. all but one of his old fishing buddies are either gone or nearly gone.
Orange Beach is East of Gulf Shores. My suggestion is to get there and get familiar with the area. Get involved with a church or other social group to find a fishin' buddy.
