The neighbor

My neighbor's son is going into the ninth grade and is taking up tennis. I took him to the courts tonight and hit for a while. He is a long way from a good tennis players but is trying to learn, We hit for about an hour.

He was funny. He was not expecting a heavy old man to play well. I expect we will go again soon.

He is in 9th grade- I'd imagine he's still kinda awkward. I know I was in 9th grade!

I turn 50 in a few weeks.

I introduced him to the dad of a couple of the players from th high school team. He told Joseph if he would listen to what I told him I would make him a good tennis player. All I could do was smile. I have hit with a lot of the high school players.

I talked to his mother a few minutes ago about tennis rackets because he wants to upgrade his racket. She said he went on and on last night about how good "Mr. Fred" hits the ball. :24:
