i just finished eclipse... i just bought breaking dawn.. read a review about par tof it being writtin at jacob.. i dint like that bit so much at the end of eclipse.. and actually.. i would have much preferred to knwo whats gogin on in side edwards head.. *sigh* edward

I didn't at first, but you get used to it. That was one of the parts where I found myself reading ahead and skipping almost whole pages, just because I didn't care so much about his take on things.

If you ask me, Stephanie Meyer's a pretty amateur writer - as in, she really drags on in places in her novels. People are constantly comparing Meyer and J.K Rowling, but Rowling's miles ahead of her. Meyer was very lucky that the film has been such a major hit. After the second novel, I think the series got rather boring.

Film is great though - very romantic indeed! Speaking of fanciable characters in the books - Jacob, phoarrr! His character is just so sexxxy!!! If anything, the wrong guy was chosen to play Jacob in the films - sort of ruins the fantasy of him.

I agree with you about the books- they certainly aren't great works of literature, but they are good for entertainment. Not near as good as the Harry Potter series, for sure; Rowling thought that world out so well. I've been watching the movies, and it's almost possible to believe that world really exists.

Yes... it was very hard to like Jacob. But he knew what he wanted and he didn't give up, which was his only redeeming quality. He was a bit of a shit, quite frankly.

I have to say that when I read the books, I started adoring Jacob when he discovered he was a werewolf - that's when he became all rugged and sexy. You know that bit where he has to keep Bella warm? I think it's in Eclipse - anyway, how envious was I!

Edward's alright but he's a bit of a cheeseball and way too perfect. Jacob's a lot more attractive in terms of personality lol
