Actually, I'm with you to a point, Dana. I have no problem with people expressing affection for the other. In fact, I think it's sweet and romantic. But when it does nothing but dominate conversation or gets really overly "shmoopy...no you're shmoopy...no you're shmoopy"...it is a bit wretched...

I think some people do it just to show off their relationship status. People with low self-esteems will never shut up about their boyfriends on facebook. They are just more common as kids cuz they are more self conscience then.But adults will do it too.
