When did I say I would have 100 % success ?

Well you did say if you didn't like someting, you change it. You got me thinking about all the possibilities.

How about using your head and making realistic goals ? There is a big difference between finding a job that pays close to the same as the job you have know. Aposed (sp) to being a billionaire. I give you an inch and you want a foot.

Simply seeking clairifcation and making conversation my young Canuck friend. :)

If you really want to be a billionaire the go for it. Try and invent something. Try as hard as you can to become business savy.

I wonder if Jobs and Gates started out with the intentions of earning billions...or simply to build a better mouse trap?

It is not easy. I would maybe take a life time to do.

Maybe, maybe not. I wonder if J.K Rowling struggled for the words to Harry Potter...or did they just flow to her like air from some unknown region of her mind? How do people like that do it? Is it sheer will? Interesting thought to ponder.

Just you took my statment way out of context.

Actually, I took it at face value and ran with it. How far can one's imagination realistically take them?

It is not hard to change your job from 50g a year to 60g a year. Just shop around.

There are millions of Americans today who would disagree with your statement. Many who were making $60K a year ago who lost their jobs due to the current ongoing economic downturn are now lucky to make $30K.

What advice would you give them?

Have no money < Winter

Adding in the fact the I've always been among the well employed while having empathy for those who are not - might claify my intent of the quote above. ;)

Some American's might well consider that option - assuming Canada's employment situation is better than ours. How receptive is Canadian immigration to unemployed Americans seeking to join your economy and heath care system?
