I live a pretty boring life folks. I go to work & come home. Most of the time, I have a few brews to get my mind off things & to let off some steam before I go to bed or maybe play my guitar for a few mins. I don't have a whole lot of interresting shit that happens to me during the course of my day to bring to this forum. So, sometimes my posts are a little less than worthy of your readz. Sometimes, I even have to think about a topic to post a thread about. Think too hard, at times.

Does anyone here have to think about a topic before they post a thread or is your life that interresting???:dunnoopcorn2::blah:

Well, sometimes I don't have all that much to say & it makes me feel like,"Why does everyone else have all kinds of shit to talk about & I don't?"

I don't know what gets into me sometimes. Maybe the idea of someone being there to hear some of my mindless rants is a comfort. Must be.

I don't talk this much to Renee even. I guess there's a certain level of disconnection that I don't have to feel uncomfortable about when I'm here. I can be an idiot & make people smile as a result.

I don't know how else to explain it.

Absotively nothing. Got back from dinner out with my wife, she went to bed, and here I am. i'll probably go to bed here in 20 or so.

Big weekend coming up at the restaurant & I'll be needing all the sleep I can get.

I gotta tell ya, sometimes I really hate my job... especially during Mother's Day.:thumbdown

Oh man i bet it is crazy there this weekend. We don't even think about going out to eat during holidays here. The waits are insane, and the crowds - not my cup of tea.

I don't envy you - has to be pretty stressful

We try to keep it as organized as we can but, most of the servers there don't know their ass from a hole in the ground. The problems started when we had to get a new comp for the servers to send their orders through to the kitchen. We have some older servers who decided to NOT learn how to use the new system & let us, in the kitchen carry the burden of dealing w/ all their requests.

On busy days, we can't afford to stop what we're doing on the line to deal w/ questions that these people should already know & it's become a huge problem that the owner's not taking seriously.

I 'd lose my mind working your job. I can't deal with everyone not being on the same page, and everyone deciding for themselves what the right thing to do is. And if management isn't going to take the problem seriously, then my motivation for doing the job is going out the window.

That's where I'm at mang. With Mother's Day coming up, I know what those servers are gonna do.

They're gonna shit the bed & dump all their problems on us chefs.

I don't know why the owner's not taking this problem more seriously. It's really reflecting on his business.

I hear this from all over - incompetency abounds. I use to work for a pest control company here and still talk to some of the employees. . . I can't believe the company hasn't gone bankrupt with some of the crazy crap that goes on there.

In todays world common sense doesn't seem so common anymore
