V..... Our hospitals have a Patient Advocate. Ask about that. They can be very helpful in a situation like this.

The Advocate can answer and address issues such as you describe. Particularly about insurance or lack there of.

Send her my love! I know it's not much but I think she remembers me from when it happens. I've got her on myspasce and I defended her against some of the shit comments that were being written on the comments section of a newspaper online. Maybe that will light a fire. Just be very detailed in your complaint if you make one. everybody deserves to have good care when they're in the hospital.

I had no idea and I dont know what to say, what a horrible thing to happen to your Mum.

I found out late last night some more info. The doc came in and told her that she is finally responding to the antibiotics. He is still waiting to see if a neurosurgeon will help her.. If he doesnt help her, we will have to get her transferred out.

I was reading through this and thought wow, FW, you're seriously a sweet and kind woman and I hope V's mom is going to be okay
