I haven't got my EXIF reader installed yet. I'll let you know when it is. That's if I saved the info. We'll see. Those are impressive. The wax wing looks almost staged. Not a negative comment by the way. What settings did you use??
What settings did you use??
Good evening, Guyzerr.
The sunflowers, horse, and waxwing look like paintings rather than pictures. How did you accomplish that?
Yikes... Paintings ? Double yikes! I'll show you paintings. Just wait and see. :humm:
I dunno. I point the camera, choose my settings and push the buttons. It's the light angle I guess.

You might be getting that impression because of the bokeh. What's bokeh she axes? Well, bokeh in plain English is blurring the background via adjusting the f stop setting. When you do that it brings the subject to the forefront and one isn't distracted by the background. Many people that are not up to speed think that is incorrect but it isn't. It's actually the correct way to do it unless you want to see the background. Ie: In this picture you don't want bokeh because the number of boats in the marina is what makes the joint look busy. You want to be able to see it all. If it were blurred that would suck.I hope you don't think that means I didn't like them! :eek
I think it's quite neat how they turned out.
More more more.....![]()
It's nice to know I still " have it" . Convincing gals used to be quite easy when I was younger. :sarcasmI can definitely see the difference now.
I actually prefer your photos more.![]()
