Yeah, but usually that is all recouped with tourists, advertising and the like. We kicked up a stink at the cost of the Sydney Olympics, but made (I think) all the money back.

Meh, I don't really know if I can see that happening, but we shall see. It's not going to be anywhere near as spectacular as the Beijing Olympics though lol.

He is the biggest golfing legend on the planet basically, money will be recouped as you said with the Olympics, from tourists, television, sponsors and whatnot. At the end of the day, there's nothing we can do about what our money is squandered on, and there's a lot of it being squandered unfortunately.
