Dont know if this has been done before, but

BAD LUCK ...I'M DOIN IT AGAIN:D (thanks to the best guitarist thread that made me think of this)

For me...the best EVER was Queen. The showmanship of Freddie, and the stage show was brilliant

even the crap "radio ga ga" song I was on my feet pumping my fist in the air

2nd would have to be Page and Plant

and the worst would be Neil Young

most disappointing RHCP.

Rush was probably the best. It's Rush, nuff said :thumbup

One of the most memorable was Ozzy. It was one of the last shows Randy Rhodes was alive for. He was about half way through a solo and the jack to his guitar started to come out. He reached down and jammed it back in and didn't miss a note. This happened several times during the solo. He could have easily gave up on the solo, but he kept going and never broke stride.

A month later he was gone :(

I went to a Journey/ Def Leppard concert a couple years ago. Freakin' awesome! Not the original lead singer for Journey, but it was still way cool.

John and I were both under 21, and we had a friend getting us beers. He left early (after Journey) and we were talking to the people in front of us, probably in their 40s, trying to get beer. Well, we got around to talking about their kids. The guy pulls his wallet out to show us his kids, and there they are. Right next to his police badge. When he wasn't paying attention, we both put our beers down. But his wife wound up pole dancing on the hand rail in the aisle, so he wasn't concerned with us.

Get on YouTube and look up Rush. Some of the vids are Tom Sawyer, Limelight, Free Will, Spirit of the Radio, The Trees, Xanadu . . .

It's all good. I can't think of one solitary song they've ever made that wasn't good. And most of them were great IMO :thumbup

Umm. Either Morrissey, NoFX orr Radiohead I think. Those were all great shows.
I wish I was old enough to have gone to some better shows.

hmm...

Pennywise at a local venue named Numbers lol
Seeing Pearl Jam at the Abyss like in 91 or 92
Pavement at the Abyss
Rancid at Numbers
No use for a name at the very first Warped Tour when skate punk bands were good and way before that shit blink182 lol
Seeing the offspring in 92 at the International Ballroom
Tool at the international Ballroom
A local radio station here does something called Buzzfest, I went to the first one and loved it!

But the over all best concert ever:
Beastie Boys in 92 at Houston's Summit! IT WAS AWEOME!!

First few bands came on and by the time the beasites came on My friend and I were Soooooooooo baked the show didnt even start and i shit you not 90% of the entire stadium-like venue rushed the floor! We looked back and saw a wall of people coming up to us so we literally walked on the back of seats and chaits, jumped ovr police officers and made it down to the floor level. I was real skinny so random people had the urge to just throw me up into the air to crowd surf. One of the best fucking memorable time in music for me

Too many to list

One of the best was Rick Wakeman doing Voyage to the Center of the Earth

Right up in the top 5 was seeing James Gang with Tommy Bolin. A buddy and I went to a community ice rink and there were 3 bands. The first group I have no idea who it was. The next was Norman Greenbaum who did Spirit in the Sky. He absolutely sucked.

Next came James Gang and no Joe Walsh. What a let down. But then they played and it was unbelievable. Made an instant fan of Tommy Bolin for me. But equally impressive was the light show. Kind of hard to describe. But over each musician was a light beam that had 4 parts to it. They had the lights in sync with the music coming from each musician. Ya had to be there
