I just got a call from work.. I am on standby because its snowing in GA and it NEVER snows in GA.. Im not even on call and I am still sick. IM mad. and yes, they can force me to come in.. Its in our SOP's if its bad weather, they put people on standby

I hope not either. I was suppose to be going to an autism benefit dinner tonight in Atlanta, but if its still snowing, I wont be able to go. My tires on my car need to be replaced and there is NO WAY they will drive in the snow.

We considered driving up to see the snow but we're too lazy. And Dominic wouldn't like the drive. I hope that they don't call you in and that you get to go to the dinner.

It didn't stick for ya'll??? It suck here, but now it's started raining again, so it's melted. BUT it's supposed to snow throughout the night.

A friend of mine called me earlier and told me that he had thrown 2 snowballs at his wife and apparently she didn't find it as funny as he did. I asked him how they planned on having another child NOW considering she probably wasn't gonna give him any for a month or so. LOL

All you have to do is tell them you are diagnosed with pneumonia. I am sure your doctor would confer that. If they still insist then tell them you are providing a written notice to friends and relatives should this pneumonia get worse and causes you monetary loss to hire somebody to come in and take care of your house let alone if it were to kill you. Sometimes a threat like that can wake dumb ass peoples brains up.

Y'all got a good bit more than we did. And yes, southerners (generally) cannot deal with snow. People literally drive 10 on the highway.
