prob notAre they going to demolish the military Hum-Vee program?
Food for thought
auto industry in the US is sure in a better position than when this thread was started.
Too bad Obama did not use the heavy hand on the banking industry to hold them accountable as they still are fucked up.
I was right to be against the stimulus and TARP and right about saving the auto companies.
Saturn is trying to see if they can make it on its own.
SAAB appears to be toast as their parent country does not give a shit
Hummer should have been scrapped a couple years ago.
Trust me the auto companies have been working on reform. They get it. The fucking asshats in DC though would rather take care of their banker buddies and the god damn pork programs first. What a great way to treat an industry that is one of the main reasons we were able to tool up and win WWII
just america?![]()
Yes. Just America. :clap :usa:
If not for us, y'all would be speaking German and eating sauerkraut.
just america?![]()
I can see how you took it that way.
Was not my intent
Although despite it being a cooperative effort with all allies I suspect if we had stayed at home you might be speaking a bit more german![]()
we won the battle of britain...wiki it...hitler couldn't beat us with all the might of the luftwaffe, our shores stood firm and repelled everything...and that was before america entered the war and hitler attacked russia
That's sky for you though... he takes everything as a slight against his country or, usually speaking, an excuse to attack America.
:blah:
Number one... if not for our supplies, you wouldn't have won the Battle of Britain. Furthermore, the Battle of Britain ranks fairly far down in the ladder of importance of turning points of WWII. It was important, but ultimately didn't ever stand a chance of succeeding.
D-Day, the Battle of the Bulge, and Stalingrad ranked far higher in importance.
I can see how you took it that way.
