Well, I ran my first dungeon...

Don't think it counts, as I had a level 80 shaman in my party. There was half a dozen times where I was surrounded and thought "I'm dead" when they suddenly just... died.

Also joined a guild. Some random level 80 looked at my gear, went to the AH and bought me a sword and mailed it to me. Too cool!

Last night I plodded a good 30 minutes to a new place, fought off a ton of random creatures and finally completed a quest. THEN I realized that it scored me a measly 2500 points. Talk about a waste of time.

We finally got Deathbringer down last night, 1-shot on Marrowgar, Deathwhisper, and Gunship... 2-shot on Deathbringer. We would've had him down on the first try, but my healers let both people that got the mark die. So I kinda laid into them in-between tries, and we didn't have any problems the second time, got the achievement for killing him before three marks too, thought that isn't particularly difficult.

Well, I am now officially a player... have a lvl 9 Nelf Hunter.
Last night Sam and I had a bit of fun in Stormwind (despite my headache); he gave me 7 gold to spend on moi -- I am rich now
Today I did a few quests in Telderassi, a lvl 8 hunter joined me so it wasn't that bad

Personally i wont be coming back to WoW until a week before cataclysm comes out. just so i can watch whatever the cut scene is on the actual release date... then make myself a wicked worgen

Well, two and a half days after installing WoW I am at lvl 15, Have a lvl 15 pet cat p), am doing well on herbalism and alchemy, and have completed all the quests in Teldrassil and have moved onto Darshore. Not bad for a newb eh?

Level 20 now, with a mount to ride on (I was so tired of running around on foot - took ages).

I discovered it is profitable to be nice - helped out a guy and got a batch of light armor kit to strengthen my armor, bowed to a lvl 80 and they gave me Honor of the King(or something like that) aspect, helped out a fellow nightelf newb and her boyfriend gave me 20 Conjured Purified Water and 20 Conjured Rye.
Got lucky too, by singing up for some guild list... I don't remember the name.. honestly I didn't understand what it was, only that I get 5 gold for singing it and I had no obligations. They said it was "good for the bank" -- well it was good for me too

.... and I just saw the clock... holly.. it's 4am... I stayed up till 4 am playing WoW... Jesus!

I discovered that I dislike escorting missions, be it and NPC or a regular player. It's just something about a brainless NPC walking into something without care, and a player acting like a brainless NPC and running though a mob of higher level monsters and then expecting me to kill 8 at the same time that irks me beyond reason.

So, after 4.5 days of playing WoW I am level 22.

Yes I know you guys are way past LvL 22 and it is no news for you, but for me it is still exciting

Oh and I am lvl 25 now.... and I am going home now so my average of gaining 4 levels a day will not last

5% to damage/healing/health buff in ICC went into effect today...

Most successful night of raiding thus far last night, though that was probably partially due to the 5% buff, but we also were only having to pug 3 DPS instead of 4-5 players like normal. Got Marrowgar down on the first shot, which is a regular occurrence now. Deathwhisper took two tries because people got cocky and stopped killing the adds... and then we knocked her down the next try without any deaths. Gunship was lawltacular as per usual. Then the highlight of the night was taking Saurfang down on the first try, with his first mark not even going out until 26% (normally it goes out at around 45-50% so that was a bigtime improvement. Then Precious and Stinky bit the dust, and we got our first shots in on Festergut, probably would've downed him the second try, but our MT pally healer had beaconed me instead of our other tank, so he died at 70%, and we still got him under 40% before the raid blew up. Should get him down in 1-2 tries on Thursday, and then onto Rotface.

Congrats retro... I am guessing you re playing with a lvl 80... I just asked Sam last night what chalang is there for lvl 80s and what they actually do after leveling up to the maximum.

On another note, even with a busy day, with not being home most of the time and my brother hogging up the laptop I made lvl 26 today
