To both James and House. I am well aware that that may be the reason. Athough some peeps might neg rep for other reasons also sometimes malicious. Was the neg rep deserving? I don't know since I am not aware of the post and must admit I am curious to know which post it was and who neg repped her to better understand.
And no, it is not hard to believe that not everyone is going to agree with another's point of view? Nor for that matter that I believe everyone is perfect or that we should have people thinking that everyone is perfect. I've never said anything to substantiate that. As far as I am aware, nobody human is perfect. But I do believe in fairness and the premise of right and wrong.

Don't worry about it. jds doesn't have enough rep power to really do any damage to livvy's rep, and besides that it's just rep on an internet forum.

Not the rep damage to Livvy's quota I'm concerned about James. That's inconsequential. It's more so the intent and from what Livvy says, without actually revealing what was said in the rep comment, that it was not a joke or lighthearted comment. I would like to believe that it was a misunderstanding but with not having the benefit of the post or anything substantial all I can do is guess. I believe it would be best if it is cleared up tho to avoid any misgivings which for all we know may not have been intentional but jbs is not online right now so it may be a bit unfair to continue in her absence. Perhaps when she comes back on they can clear it up and work it out if they wish.

Hi Livvy - have just woken up. You are great too, which is why some of us care about what happens to you, especially as you are young - you don't need that.
I agree with everything CB has to say on this.
I think a few ppl here weren't too impressed with her, so don't worry about it.
Also, a noob should never just walk in, slate a person for what's on their mind and think it OK.
They can't have the excuse that they are new, cos you should learn a bit how ppl are on here first for a while. It's just the same thing as walking up to a complete stranger in the street and telling them something unkind about that person - you just wouldn't do that, so shouldn't be done here. It has happened before and some don't settle down either, but others' do - maybe she will?

The only things I have read of Livvy's posts, are about her problems - that's not for someone to approve of or disapprove, let alone slate her over herself, she was wanting support, that is all.

To work out whether or not there may have been a misunderstanding of sorts or whatever James. Stranger things have happened.
I've read a good couple of jds's (sp) posts now including the one I found out just this evening about Livvy concerning the probs she's been having and have yet to see a negative comment directed to Livvy from the member. If anything all I have seen thus far are helpful/supportive contributions. Let's not be too quick to jump to conclusions.
