I have seen the first part of Zeitgeist and was very interested in all of the parallels that came up concerning not only Jesus but other characters in the Bible as well as main figures in other religions.
I was SO interested that I decided to do research on Horus (who was the one mainly paralleled to Jesus) and was sorely disappointed. I found no evidence supporting any of the claims in the movie Zeitgeist. In fact most of the information I found contradicted what it said. For example one of the examples used in the movie is that both Horus and Jesus came from virgin births and that they both died and were resurected. However, Osiris was the father of Horus (Isis the mother) and Horus represented the day while Set represented the night. At the end of the day Set and Horus would battle and Horus would lose (death) but when the morning came and the battled again Horus would win (resurrection??)
I have found many other problems with the proofs that the movie Zeitgeist that I won't go into right now to save you a wall of text. Suffice to say that if you looked at all of the lists that they present as evidence, you'll find that they are more lists of random names rather than credible information.
The point of this:
Do you believe Zeitgeist (part 1 2 or 3)? Why?
