I'm big on a kind of folk/indie sound these days. I've been able to stumble upon a wide variety of really talented and experimental artists in this category, and the experience has been wonderful.
I think I prefer R & B to others because of it's calm and cool nature. It kinda relaxes me. Although, I'm an all-rounder kind of person when it comes to music. So, if a song is on a slow beat and has good rhythm, I might like it irrespective of its genre.
Originally, I'm a rock chick. But over the years I've come to appreciate more genres of music - yeah, even RNB and hiphop. Lately, I'm getting my kicks off of alternative country / folk / indie artists like Ryan Adams, Mumford and Sons, The Civil Wars and The Lumineers.
I like classic rock and metal. There's a wide range of artists in these genres, and I love listening to it. I also listen to alternative and indie rock, but not as often.
Electronic music is definitely my favourite, its a very broad genre so I should probably narrow it down a bit more but I love it all, especially progressive stuff at the moment.
I usually listen to some indie/alternative rock or hip-hop, it's normally I mix between the two along the day.
Bands like Tame Impala, Arcade Fire and Japandroids are probably my favorites!
It has to be EDM. This genre has taken the world by storm. The first time I was introduced to it was in a David Guetta concert, that time I didn't have a clue about EDM. But oh boy, the beats really make you move. This music is especially good for a workout or even if you just want to keep yourself pepped up. I feel I can get a lot of work done with House/EDM music playing in the background.
My favorite music genre is rap and hip hop. This is only because it's what everyone around me listens to, I constantly am hearing it, and it just puts you in such a good mood. It makes you feel like a million bucks a lot of the times!
My favorite genres of music are trance and electronic. ATB is one of my favorite artists, who is a song writer and producer of trance and electronic music. There are a lot of his songs are very good, and I have listened to every single album.
