Competing with someone for a girl is just kind of lame imo. I see it happen all too often and pretty much most of the time both guys end up looking like a dick. If I fancy a girl and so does someone else, I just dont worry about him and just concentrate on doing what I can to get to know her, if she goes for him instead, so be it, it obviously wasn't meant to be.

good point why not let that person you are hitting on decide rather than try to compete? although confidence is pretty sexy and if it would be a decision between the two being equal the more confident would definitly win in my book
