A suburban Chicago woman will spend a month in prison for leaving her three kids home alone while she attended the Jerry Springer Show.

Shannon Cook pleaded guilty to child endangerment.

All of her children are younger than five.

Cook admitted to leaving them home alone for about nine hours in October while she and her boyfriend went to a taping of the Springer Show in downtown Chicago.
