I'm dreaming of yesterday.
Of memories that'll never fade.
Of times when I felt so alive.
Now looking back, I want to cry.
You filled the void inside of me.
Showed me all that I could be.
When you held me in your arms,
I felt like nothing could go wrong.
You helped me find my strength inside,
that's been there all along.
I miss your smile, your laugh;
especially hearing your voice.
I'd re-live every moment with you,
if I had a choice.
Dreams unfulfilled I remember still,
how I feel when I lay in your arms.
With you there beside me,
I knew I'd be safe from harm.
I told you once before you'll always be
the keeper of my heart.
That hasn't changed and never will,
I knew it fromk the start.

* just to fill you in a little...this poem and keeper of my heart are a little old...about a year and a half ....this one was written for my bf when we went through a tough time and split up for a few months...but I'm glad to say we worked things out and are now going strong and happy...but yeah this is basically the second part to my original poem to him "Keeper of My Heart"*
