Yes I had to position myself just right for that one. Those are 3 different angle shots. It's hard to get around the electrical wires here...Thanks Siph!

Lightning is hard to photograph. It's 90% luck. Storm clouds are cool, though. I like the second one too. We had a massive thunderhead go by a couple of days ago just as I was getting off work. I wish I had had my camera because that is one of the coolest cloud formations I've seen.

Actually, that's how my cousin gets pictures of lightning. She takes a video of the storm with her camera and then gets a still frame with the lightning from that. Personally, I think that's cheating. :ninja :willy_nilly:

Well, I think it's cheating because she didn't actually take a picture of lightning. There's no photographic talent in extracting a still frame from a video.
