Nice......just wonder why I see so liitle in the photographic topics pictures of people.
Once in a while it is good to get away from the postcard idea, beaches, landscape scenery, clouds, sun's and moon shotzzzzzzzzz
I know its difficult as they tend to move and walk away LOL but you photograph something were photography is invented for and in my opinion that is to document.Once you have taken a photo with a person in there you will never able to redo it again and have made a statement document.
To photograph things what do not excist is the ultimate challenge in documentary photography and you become a story teller with your camera and is very rewarding.

I can't speak for everyone else but all my pictures of people are of my friends and family, so I rarely post them online for their privacy, and when I do it's mainly because I'm in the photo myself.

I can understand that.....but I was refering to those whom do more with photography than just that...those who intend to have it as a serieus hobby or profession.

I won't and will not post photos of my work which has musicians in them...there is nothing so annoying if my work finds out :ninja Guess for yourself what will happen then?

I agree  Becoming a story teller with one's camera is what am trying to achieve hence learning tips to portray real pictures/colors of settings in it's natural grandeur. It's quite tough as a beginner. I was challenged by commentaries of great photographers I read tho' stating in photography- one is just not taking 'snap shots' but pics should have the 'wow factor' to take it apart from other regular picture takers. It would be my first later today to take pics of people/models ( fairies etc) and dunno what I'll do.

It would be nice maybe if you can share us techniques and maybe show samples of your pics too :)

I am sorry that I can not show or share any of the pictures I once took anymore so you have to take me for what I am worth.
In my view and as we all know photography starts with to look and see.
Most people think they do but more than not they don't.
Its something you can learn and train yourself on and will come by the years as a natural asset to you.
Even when I am retired and do not have for over 10 years touched a camera I still point out sometimes to friends and family what would take or make a good picture as they did not noticed it.
To become a story teller is not easy and you need to have the journalistic beast in you.
We all photograph things what has a form, you can touch or can see.
Now try to make or imaging a list of things were the above does not excists and use the above to achieve and show this in a picture.
sample: racism
How: take pics from white and coloured people together in one pic in a way that they get treated differend.
