I'm not sure if I'm on the right subject but do you honestly think a stimulus check was really supposed to solve everything? it's just a helping hand and a pat on the back saying "Everything will be alright!". You sound like you thought everything would go back to the way it was.

Cause it is gonna get worse. A lot of this shit involved matching funding and or conditions requiring future contributions by the states. Thus a few of the republican governors did not want it. But they got beat down due to the fact the people are idiots who believed in this bullshit waste of money that was geared at only propping up the govt and or democrat pet projects.

I don't think he is referring to just the stimulus check, but in fact the whole Stimulus package crap that started when this downward spiral first hit and then morphed into what became TARP. And honestly, the promises for even that were a bit wild for the amounts invested and where it was invested. We were trying to save crumbling industries from collapsing on us, but honestly it does seem at least that the good that would come of not letting "some" of the companies fail as been very limited in its returns.
