I finally got through to my dad. He cheaped out and bought some 66 blocks from TeleData.
When you go to punch the wire down on it, they'll either stick, go in halfassed or pop back out.
I was putting some wires down while installing a system today and out of 50 wires, 8-10 popped back out. So with them now being too short, I had to scotch lock them to the leftover wire and try to punch them back down. While standing on the back of my ladder in a 90 degree room.
I was pissed.

So as I was leaving from lunch I called my dad and asked if we could just return the rest of the blocks to TeleData, he asked why and I just went off on him about how they sucked and I will absolutely REFUSE to use them. Then went to our normal supplier and got the old 66 blocks we used to use.
Sure, it saved the company money to buy the Teledata blocks, but it took more time to get a 25 pair punched down. So in reality it took more time and frustrated me to the point of needing a cigarette to calm myself down.
