I guess tonight ends baseball until what January? Now if the NBA will stay on strike the two longest seasons will both be off for a little while.

Baseball starts up again at the end of March. Spring training starts in the middle of February. Both basketball and hockey last about the same length; the NFL and college football are the aberrations. Hell, NASCAR lasts for something like 10 months out of the year.

I have made it through this entire year without watching a single inning of baseball. I don't watch NHL or Neck-car. NBA could cancel the season today and I would be OK with that. I like college basketball okay though.
