Question: I have a problem with my 360. For some reason when I turn it on, the normally green light is red and wont play. Not sure what is going on. Its fairly new. Joe bought it for austin on his birthday (June 22nd 2007).

Any ideas?

Check your cords, make sure it is all plugged in correctly.

My friends Xbox360 just crapped out one day doing the same thing.
hasn't got it to work since. and it wasn't just a cord.
I suppose he should have tried to see if theres a warranty but hes lazy.

My advice, If its not just a cord that isn't plugged in go and give em shit wherever you bought it and hope a warranty covers it. And before you bring it in try and fix it the real manly way. SMACK THAT. haha. But hey its microsoft what did you expect?

Or call customer support and go through some trouble shooting. 15 mins on the phone and you could be all fixed up. ;)

yeah. thats a good idea too haha. I hate automated voices though.
I usually just blurt some random non-sensical word and it just gives me a operator.

All you have to say is REPRESENTATIVE a couple times and it will route you automatically. :)

Try a different game. Try with no game at all. If it keeps happening, you have a bad machine. You'll have to contact Microsoft warranty and send it in to get another one. They have just recently extended their warranty on the 360s so you shouldn't have any trouble, but you'd be without it for a bit.

"GVNAD!"
"A representitive will be with you shortly!"
