When I was a kid it used to be great fun to get up close to a window fan and yell. The blades chopped up the sound and sent it buffeting around the room. :24:

Bottom line is affordability. It may be geewiz but I can't see many people buying when you can get a traditional fan for $20.

I bet this fan will make him 100's of millions.

There is definitely a market for this. You aren't going to have "old" technology when you are hip and have money to burn. There will be an entire yuppie market to tap into with this fan.

I spent $500 on his vacuum with reservations (because of the price) But it was the best money I ever spent on a vacuum. There is no comparison the the Dyson and ANY other vacuum. I'll definitely check out the fan at a store, you never know...

I don't think I'd spend that amount of money on it though... I'll wait to buy on on ebay or craiglist for half price.
