Would you buy soap made in Auschwitz?

All is circumstantial. Gandhi's circumstances were different because both Hindus and Muslims backed him up in kicking out the British......
the real bloody revolution against the British started in 1857 which the Indo-Pak call the War of Independence
whereas the British call it the Mutiny!!

lol One Country's "revolution" is always another's "mutiny"

hahahahahahahahahha! I can't stop laughing at your simplicity!!:) You don't seem to know that at least 2 cute
blondes were his 24/7 ''attendants'' and a 'goat' whose milk he relished to drink!!:)

I always get the impression that you're a man who learnt every English word, but never learnt the language itself.

well that certainly goes against conventional wisdom on ghandhi's history. can you share some sources for that opinion?

Actually it doesn't. Read anything by Lawrence James, James Cresbon or Byron Farwell and others.
It's long been established that Gandhi was quite adept at encouraging others into practicing the opposite of what he preached.

I wouldn't know about that.

But anyone who knows about post-war India can tell you that Gandhi was solely responsible for thousands of lives, Indian lives. It was him who created the artifical Hindu/Muslim divide. It was him that preached for the peaceful annilihation of railway and telegraph lines. Pray tell, how the fuck does one peacefully destroy a countries iinfrastructure?

True, Gandhi told people to burn all British stuff and rely on indigenous sources...
he retarded the progress that British had brought to India technologically...those marvels of the British can still
be found in Indo-Pak ...still in service and doing great job!!

Gandhi was shot by a Hindu for trying to divide India by one of his speech in favor of creation of Pakistan.

He, a lawyer, was earlier a trouble-maker in south Africa

Australian Complicity In 20 Million Muslim
Refugees And Christmas Island Disaster
By Dr Gideon Polya

What can decent people do about Australian holocaust commission, genocide commission, holocaust ignoring and genocide ignoring? Peace is the only way but silence kills and silence is complicity. Decent people must (a) inform everyone they can and (b) apply and urge Sanctions and Boycotts against all people, politicians, corporations and countries complicit holocaust commission, genocide commission, holocaust ignoring and genocide ignoring. Would you buy soap made in Auschwitz?

Well, if you're going to create a discussion on a particular topic, I wouldn't choose an article so bereft with errors and shocking biases as a reference point.

Since this article likes to unjustifiably and erroneously slander my country, I feel the need to defend it.

According to this article at least, Australia is a Apartheid, anti-Asian, right-wing dictatorship, which is directly responsible, or at least complicit, in every major 'genocide' since the second world war.

Oh, and apparently we're still trying to eliminate indigenous Australians, despite for the past 40 years heading on a path of reconciliation and spending vast amounts of money on social services to bridge the health and education gap between indigenous and non-indigenous Australians.

Apart from having a very extreme ideological bent, the article is also full of errors, asylum seekers do receive substantial benefits from the government. And while it is true that successive governments have used the asylum issue in order to provoke xenophobic views in the community for their own political gain, the problem is not as pronounced as the article makes it seem.

Most asylum seekers sent to centers for processing have their applications for asylum approved anyway (90%+). And if the author thinks that Australia is a country where people of different races are completely segregated, well then I doubt that he has even been here, considering that Australia is probably one of the most culturally diverse nations in the world.

Prejudices in Australia

"So, mate, how's the truck going?" Asks the manager.
"Great, it has four wheels and it drives." Replied Hui, a new driver to the fleet who's English can be halted at times.
"Very funny mate. Who would have thought a Chinaman could have a great sense of humor?"
This is a conversation I witnessed only a couple of days ago in my workplace. This is nothing new. I've been hearing small remarks like this for many years, from the oldest generation to amongst the youngest, from the rich to the poor, to those culturally defined to those not as so. Prejudice exists within each community; no matter what culture you celebrate.

Although Australia is a multicultural nation and boasts of being a nation that accepts and loves diversity, unfortunately prejudices exist within it. Prejudice within Australian not only exists between the different cultures and races, but also amongst their own society.

Australia is only a new country. Besides our Indigenous people existing here before white settlers, the population has grown immensely through white settlers and immigrants in only a short period of time and continues to do so. Although it does have a major cultural diversity, Australia is also very insulated.
Let's have a look at the prejudice that exists everywhere within Australian communities.
