you can't really answer this unless you know the guy personally. i'd never presume, but if you want to base this on his teachings no i don't think he would hate ANYONE period.

i think it's kind of hard to argue.

maybe? judas did give him a kiss before selling him out. he offered forgiveness to people who wanted to repent for their sins, and if gay/bisexuality is a sin, plenty of gay/bisexual people dont plan on repenting.

If you believe Jesus is God (the whole trinity thing), then he destroyed Sodom and Gomorrah. So I think he's safe to say he doesn't approve. If you believe in that kinda thing.

No, I do not believe that Jesus hates gays or bisexuals. There is a difference between disapproving of sin and hating someone.

Well, if you look at who Jesus was, and where he came from, I think you can make some guess. I mean, He was a normal Jew of his time, who gradually became aware of his divine authority (supposedly), so I would guess that he had negative thoughts towards gays, since the jewish culture he was raised in punished homosexuality by death.

Here are some passages from the New testament about homosexuality: Homosexuality in the New Testament

If you believe in Jesus though, you will know that he was there to squash the Jews as the chosen nation and open up Gods people to the whole world. Seem to remember his two commandments were
1 Love God with your whole heart, soul , mind and strengh
2 Love your neighbour as your self

in Mark chapter 11:

Now the next day, when they had come out from Bethany, He was hungry. And seeing from afar a fig tree having leaves, He went to see if perhaps He would find something on it. When He came to it, He found nothing but leaves, for it was not the season for figs. In response Jesus said to it, “Let no one eat fruit from you ever again.” And His disciples heard it.... Now in the morning, as they passed by, they saw the fig tree dried up from the roots. And Peter, remembering, said to Him, “Rabbi, look! The fig tree which You cursed has withered away” (11:12-14,21-22, emp. added).

modern biblical scholars believe this passage is using symbols to hide jesus' hate for homosexuals. jesus couldn't just come out and say he hated homosexuals because of the strong gay rights movement going on at the time of biblical palestine.

but if you'll notice the fig tree is barron, and chooses not to produce fruit or children. the same is true of homosexuals. you will aslo note that 'fig' is one letter off from spelling 'fag'. this kind of euphemism is common in the bible.

Or it could be people reading into it too much for their own means. Personally I didn't see the homophobic references in that.

Romans

1:26 For this cause God gave them up unto vile affections: for even their women did change the natural use into that which is against nature:
1:27 And likewise also the men, leaving the natural use of the woman, burned in their lust one toward another; men with men working that which is unseemly, and receiving in themselves that recompence of their error which was meet. 1:28 And even as they did not like to retain God in their knowledge, God gave them over to a reprobate mind, to do those things which are not convenient; 1:29 Being filled with all unrighteousness, fornication, wickedness, covetousness, maliciousness; full of envy, murder, debate, deceit, malignity; whisperers, 1:30 Backbiters, haters of God, despiteful, proud, boasters, inventors of evil things, disobedient to parents, 1:31 Without understanding, covenantbreakers, without natural affection, implacable, unmerciful: 1:32 Who knowing the judgment of God, that they which commit such things are worthy of death, not only do the same, but have pleasure in them that do them.

AEF - Yes some might see that but it's just random speculation

MM - I do think the Bible is homophobic, some of what you say proves that to me, other passages dont.

John 13 (NIV)
25He, (AI)leaning back thus on Jesus' bosom, said to Him, "Lord, who is it?"
26Jesus then answered, "That is the one for whom I shall dip the morsel and give it to him." So when He had dipped the morsel, He took and gave it to Judas, (AJ)the son of Simon Iscariot. 27After the morsel, (AK)Satan then (AL)entered into him. Therefore Jesus said to him, "What you do, do quickly."

During the Last Supper before Jesus' execution, the author(s) of the Gospel of John describes how the "beloved" disciple laid himself on Jesus' inner tunic -- his undergarment. See John 13:25 and 21:20. Was Jesus gay?

he was speaking to jews and gentiles alike, thats what made him a target of the jews, they did not want someone saying he was their king while trying to bring under the umbrella of "gods people". obviously they hated him for more then that, being poor and a king was not something they liked...etc....he was the ultimate rebel, something i think you can dig.
You a Nietzsche fan? Very smart, too much for his own, died crazy, nothing to hold onto. But in his "anti-christ" he does say one of the most truthful things ive ever heard about christianity. he says (one of only like three times he mentions jesus in that book actually) that christianity died on the cross....and i agree, to be the ultimate christian is to always be like christ, and no one is able to do that, if they are, its cause they are to old to be overcome by their physical urges anymore, i repect a young person who can overcome what others say is "natural". you'll recognize the next christian to come around, with a big fat smile on his/her face
