So i get home about 5:30 and I'm sittin there about to commence my chill out phase of the evening when my phone rings. It's my buddy Greg, he asks me what i'm doin 'nothin'.
"Could ya come over and house sit with my wife? My house got broken into today, they stole about 4k in shit and the door was busted open."
So I'm sittin here at his house. They busted through the garage door with the freakin deadlock on it. Destroyed the door frame and all. Took his Xbox, a lot of DVDs (including their wedding dvd), his laptop, his hand gun, ladee dah. They tried to jack his DVD player and whatnot, but it was so interconnected that they gave up and grabbed what they could.
Fuckin jackasses didn't even notice his Allen County Sheriff badges sitting on the island in his kitchen.
My first thought was that it was someone who'd just got out of lock up (he's a confinement officer) and had a vendetta against him, but there were 3-4 other houses that got jacked into over the past few weeks around here.
Fuckin pisses me off, and it wasn't even any of my shit that got stolen.
