Cat hair everywhere, that's a huge downside....

I hate folding clothes. I'll wash them, but I usually don't fold them.

Cat fur doesn't both me. I cover up my bed with a blanket I don't use and we vaccum/sweep all the time.

I love folding clothes. I have a complusion to fold things and it's something I can do while watching TV/reading/whatever.

Me too! When we moved into this apartment, I swore up and down that I would, under no circumstance, vacuum. Matt didn't think I was serious, but I've never vacuumed yet.

We're looking into places right now, and they're all hardwood.

So.... sweeping > vacuuming? Get a lightweight vacuum, it'll be easier to push around.

I personally find vacuuming to be more satisfying. You can usually see the difference you make, and it lasts longer on carpet.
