I'm not helping him with the cable this month. This electric bill just keeps going up. I tried keeping it at 70, but with this -5 bullshit and the wind not helping, my furnace works overtime.

$105.54 this month for a two bedroom apartment, and it's only running because the thermostat is in the living room where the large drafty ass windows are.

I've just spent the last 45 minutes of my friday night writing out my bill amounts and due dates to get a better handle on them... that long ass post? Yeah, that was basically the edge of a nervous breakdown for me. I'm surprised it wasn't three times the length honestly.

Anyway, he's going to have to make due with paying the entire cable bill, because this electric bill rivals it.

So yeah, blah. I'm just rambling. I know ya'all could care less...

I did figure something out though, all my bills except rent come within the last two weeks of every month. With rent being due on the 1st. I should technically have one check which I could throw in savings and not touch, but that doesn't leave a lot of room for food and misc impulse buying shit... which I really don't do that anyway. lol

I dunno.

dude that's nothing...energy costs in Texas are SKY high. On average we pay anywhere between $300-$330/mo for a 2 BR apt. And we supposedly have the cheapest provider here.

Yeah, but your bill isn't my problem. That's why I live in Ft Wayne. Our cost of living is 7 points below the national average, which is good for guys who work for their cheap dads. lol

our cost of living here in TX isn't that bad...Nice new houses go from about 110k-200k depending on how big/how much extras you get on a house...that's pretty fuckin cheap for a new house if you ask me. We live in a fairly new apt complex, 2 bedroom w/attached garage, garden tubs, all the amenities, and pay $900/mo. Not too bad rent-wise. BUT DAMN the power companies are killin us....and car insurance...for some reason my county has the HIGHEST rates in the country, people here drive like they own the road, and eVERYONE speeds. We just have a lot of idiots on the roads too, so we have more insurance claims than any other county in the country...I pay about $270 for full coverage on 2 vehicles, and I used to pay $100 more but I found a better company than progressive. Our bills stack pretty close to $1800/mo with everything.

Wow, here a 900 a month payment could get you a 3 bedroom House to rent... Thats about 200 more then My mortgage payment.
Although my heat bill will push up to almost 200 in the winter months, which sucks.

I called him and asked him to cover the cable bill so I could cover the electric.

Importance: Electric > cable.

sooo... yeah. He was fine with it, since he makes assloads more money than I do anyway.

James you need to get those plastic shrink things that you put on your windows and use a hair dryer to make them shrink and stick they really work. Try them :)

In England the gas and electricity prices have been going up at an alarming rate. Within the last year my bill has increased from £21 a month to £44 a month.:eek I've just changed over to British Gas because the've got a deal going where they wont increase thier prices for 3 years.
