My mom spent some time in Johns Hopkins (Baltimore) for a liver transplant.

Jesus that hospital, as state of the art as it is, is in the worst ghetto I have ever seen.

Highest crime rate in ALL of Baltimore. Prostitutes approaching cars outside the ER... It was TERRIFYING!

Been to the markets in downtown Baltimore? Talk about crackhead mecca..

I've been to one. Can't remember which.

At Johns Hopkins they have these little security booths basically on every corner of the hospital (which is MASSIVE). With these little unarmed security guards usually in there 60s.

I can't begin to convey how bad that surrounding area looked.
