microsoft made the new beta avail to everyone for free, but should be used for testing only since i'm sure it is highly unstable at this point.

What version of Windows isn't unstable? Joking aside, when they release a beta to public, it's pretty much ready. In fact, they always use the latest beta internally as testing group as well. I know, my wife works there.

well to be honest...the beta 2 version is alot more stable then previous "first releases" of past microsoft os'

i have tried to get many people to explain to me what new stuff it does, seemingly nothing a mac cant already do

basically, everything ms releases is just prettying up the already dusty operations the software ms is updating.
