So with this new laptop I went from Windows XP straight to Windows 7..

This meant I skipped Vista which was not a bad thing but I did miss on some of the neat features others already knew about..

One of them being Desktop Gadgets.. These are of course available to Windows 7 and only need to be found or called up..

There are now many, many added Desktop Gadgets on the Microsoft Web Site for free to be added as daily tools.

I have since added
Desktop Clocks ( Two for the two Time Zones I use with each City names I relate with )
Desktop Calendar
Currency Converter ( US to CAD )
Traffic ( My City local traffic as up up to the minute reports )

These are now endless as but I suggest you review them for how useful they are before using them..

I have the Weather and Computer monitor one, but there are some cool ones out there.

I used to have a new Dilbert cartoon delivered to my desktop every day

My boyfriend is going to come home and be like 'Why the fuck did you put all these little boxes everywhere?'

Me: Like my computer pretty.
Him: Wants it fast with no bells and whistles.
