A lot of people shower the night before. I personally can't b/c my hair is FUCKED once I go to sleep, even if it's just for 5 minutes.

We did that in high school, because otherwise there were 4 of us showering in the mornings.

(We did that too. We had ten minute time limits, with a 2 minute warning knock and if you weren't out, the water got shut off at the source. So then you stood and waited all soapy and sudsy for Mom to go turn it back on. LOL)

It's easier to shower at night, especially with kids. Helps to develop a pre-bed routine and then they can sleep in longer and the parents have one less thing to stress about in the morning.

And if you thought you were late for the bus, would you shower or say "oh shit" and run out the door?

they are boys! and that would have wrecked the whole point of the commercial to wait for them to shower, they were late that was the point. Also having a son I can guarantee you that there were times when I had to fight the child to get in the shower every other day when he was growing up until he hit the high school age and hygiene became important because girls started to matter. I can say that with 100% certianty that Im not the only one that expirienced this either

I think the men in my family totally missed out on that gene. My brothers and my nephew all take at least 2 showers a day.
