It's innovation at it's finest. Instead of searching your bags and pockets for your smartphone, you can just say something to your glasses and it will take a picture, give you directions, take notes etc..

It could change the way we live! Or make you look like a geek depending on how you look at things. Do you think it will take off, and will you wear one?

If it is like the picture above, I'm quite sure I would never wear one. I hate wearing glasses, specifically 3D glasses (3D movies are the worst). I imagine that it couldn't be good to have that so close to your brain for long periods of time either. It seems painfully unsociable and over the top.

That depends on the features' of it. Nobody would mind wearing them if they let you surf the internet with the movements of your eye (?) or maybe with a smart-watch. I could well imagine myself buying one of those.

I won't be wearing one. Too much of a distraction and intrusion into my field of vision.

Will they be popular? Could be in an office environment.

Although the media keeps saying - that we can expect in the not too distant future - to see everyone walking around looking like they've just stepped out of " Star Trek " - am not entirely sure that its true. As apart from the look and the teething problems - I think that the cost for the majority of people would be prohibitive and also wonder if one of the main reasons that we may not see more than just the techies wearing them - is that even Google's own employees aren't too keen to wear them.

As for me - no I don't plan on wearing Google Glasses - as I think we already have more than enough devices for collecting and storing information and although I enjoy using these devices - think its nice to have a break from them every now and again and feel that if a cell phone can be a conversation stopper - what on earth would Goggle Glasses do to our lives - particularly as everyone would be permanently connected to the matrix.

Would like to give it a go, may be difficult as I wear glasses already so would need to be attached to those somehow.

I recently did some research on Google Glass and found them to be quite interesting. I wouldn't mind trying them out. However, I would have to pass on wearing them everyday.

It is a nice piece of accessory without a doubt, though not really a necessity unlike power banks or wireless headsets (especially useful when driving). People would buy it even if it is expensive if it is something that is necessary for your daily phone usage. It is more of a want than a need, so it might get the interest of the android users but will not attract people into buying it unless it is being sold for a reasonable price.

I have good news for those of you who like Creaky - would like to wear Google Glass but feel that you can't - as you are restricted by the fact that you need to wear prescription lenses.

The good news is - which I'm sure will please you all greatly - there is a solution to this problem - as very recently Google Glass announced the launch of four new designs for frames that will hold prescription lenses - details of which can be found here

http://www.google.com/glass/help/frames/

Although only a fairly limited choice at present and a little on the expensive side - they are apparently planning on expanding the range to give a greater choice - which am sure will help boost the sales of Google Glass - as having this option makes it more possible for more people to wear them :)
