Will You Go See The New Robocop Movie In Theaters?

I hate his new suit, he looks like Batman, which wasn't even really good to begin with, in my opinion. It almost makes me not want to see this in cinemas, but I'm still pretty curious how they are going about this reboot, so I probably still will but I'd wait for a few reviews first, probably. It really looks like it's going to be crappy to me. How about you guys?

Maybe, depends on the reviews. I liked the original robocop movie and even bought the robocop game on my amiga :giggle

The sequels were pretty lame so any modern version would have to be a complete reboot. Hope they do it justice as it is a classic film. Dead or alive you're coming with me!

I'm gonna watch it. We can't judge a movie by its trailer and we can't judge Robocop by his suit. But yeah, we can't avoid to compare the two and the new Robocop suit doesn't compare to the old one. The old Robocop just seems to be way cooler to me too.


So, will I watch the new Robocop movie once it hits the theaters? You bet. I'm a sucker for movies and I want to watch every new movie out there. I just hope that it turns out to be as good or even better than the original.

I like the old robocop suit as well. The new one looks ok, but the old one was better. I hope they do a good job with this reboot because they have not done very well with reboots of old movies in Hollywood.

I'll probably watch it when it comes to DVD. The first RoboCop movie was the best. RoboCop 2 and 3 sucked. We'll see how this one is but I don't really have high hopes.

I'm surprised to hear that people thought the sequels were lame, although I do know that the third one wasn't as well liked, but I personally thought the second one was just as good as the first. Maybe I'll have to re-watch them again to understand, especially in preparation for this new one. I'm still hoping it won't disappoint, I actually like it when old titles get reboots, but I hate it when they do it wrong.

I didn't even know they had a sequel. The old Robocop movie was good to me, but I will have to catch the sequel. I didn't know they had a Robocop 3. When you don't keep up with the media and stuff I guess you wont know.

I didn't know there will be a new Robocop movie coming out. I really like the classic Robocop movie, which I am so excited to hear about the new upcoming release of Robocop movie. Thank you for sharing it!

I doubt. I wouldn't spend my money on a movie I'm already familiar with. I know the plot, the only thing that has been changed is the environment and looks of the movie. It will run on HBO later on so I don't find any use of seeing it in the cinemas, I don't find it that special.

I will watch the new Robocop film, but not in theaters. So far I've watched all three Robocop films, and although the third one isn't that well received as compared to the first two, I still like it nonetheless. Actually, I really like the third film even more as I'm now watching it right at this moment, as Robocop is fighting against the corporatists.

I'm on the fence about this movie right now. On one hand I want to see this just to see how they did, but on the other hand I don't want to see it because I like the original and I don't think that they should have redone it.

I probably won't see it in theaters, but will most likely rent it later.

I actually think the original is a masterpiece, and would never think to remake it. I have faith in the remake's director, but the trailer really doesn't convince me at all. I'll probably skip it and only watch if someone whose opinion I trust really convinces me to.
