Will there be a Lost Season 8?

The TV series Lost is my favorite TV show of all time. I admire the writers for coming up with such a complex, mysterious, interesting and exciting plot that has already spanned 7 seasons. Now, I'm craving for season 8. To be honest, season 7 left me with a lot of questions hanging in my head. I think the show still has a lot of viewers and if they release a season 8, it would be an instant hit.

So, will there be a Lost Season 8?

I liked the show but it got pretty weird in the end, I don't think there is the need for another season.

No, it had the end it needed and in my opinion you shouldn't be touched anymore. Even if the ending was kinda bad ( well I guess this is just an opinion ) prolonging would not be the answer.

No way, too much time has passed for them to restart with a season 8.

I hope not. The last couple of seasons were terrible. A lot of people like me were only continuing to watch just because we wanted to see how it would end (which was pretty disappointing IMHO). Even if they did try to bring it back I don't think they'd have nearly as many viewers as they had before it ended.
